Privacy Policy

Who we are

HomePilot (homepilot.live) is a home-buying website operated by Ryan Del Bosque, REALTOR® (DRE #02128573), with We Sell Homes Realty (DRE #01875781). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through our forms:

  • Buyer Intake form: your name, email address, phone number, and home preferences such as budget, location, bedrooms, timeline, and must-haves.
  • Home value request form: your name, contact details, and the property address you ask us to value.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and your message.
  • Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider automatically receives standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested.

HomePilot does not currently offer user accounts. If we add sign-in in the future, we will update this policy before collecting any additional information.

How we use your information

  • To contact you about real estate services, including home searches, tours, offers, and next steps.
  • To match you with homes based on the preferences you share.
  • To respond to your questions and requests.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site, and to comply with legal and licensing obligations.

Listings shown on HomePilot are sample placeholders for illustration and are not used to make decisions about you.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers (processors) that handle data on our behalf and only for the purposes described here:

  • Formspree receives and delivers form submissions to us by email.
  • FormSubmit delivers submissions from our home value request form to us by email.
  • Netlify hosts this website and processes standard request data to serve pages.
  • Google Fonts delivers the site’s typefaces; your browser requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not done so in the past 12 months. We disclose information only to the service providers above, to professionals you ask us to connect you with, or when required by law.

Cookies and analytics

HomePilot does not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools. The site does not set its own cookies or store your form data in your browser. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and describe your choices.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used and disclosed.
  • Access and receive a copy of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep under real estate licensing rules).
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither).
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it for that purpose).
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any right, email us at delbosquerealty@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your request by confirming details you have provided to us and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Data retention and security

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide real estate services and meet legal and brokerage record-keeping requirements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children

HomePilot is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
